Old Jaffa Segway tour

We begin our Segway tour in Jaffa port, which is considered to be one of the oldest ports in the world.

The Jaffa Port had a major influence the development of the Land of Israel as it served as the formal gate to Israel through which kings and their armies completed their journey to the holy land, and through which immigrants, cargo and merchandise entered and left over the years. 

We learn about the rock of Andromeda and hear the tragic love story from the Greek mythology.

We “float” along the new promenade of Jaffa and ride through Slope Park while looking over at the southern suburbs of Jaffa.

We continue to the very heart of Old Jaffa- Kikar Kdumim, the oldest site in Jaffa (4000 years!), from which we proceed to the Pisgah gardens and to Napoleon Cannons. 

We stop there to observe the breathtaking panoramic view of Tel Aviv- the first Hebrew city, and hear more about its impressive development. We then continue down to the famous Kikar Ha’Shaon (Clock Square) and hear the story of Sabil Abu Nabbut.

On the way back we pass by the Etzel Museum and hear about the conquest of Jaffa by the organization, and finally we arrive at the starting point at Jaffa port.
